I finally decided to sell the Ultra Music Festival ticket on StubHub and it was taken in just over an hour sinced I priced it “ultra” competitively (buhduh-tschh).  The trip to Miami is still planned, but funds from what was a Christmas gift won’t be available for the five day, four night discovery.  I’ll be putting some of that towards a blood donation trip to Jacksonville in May (reunion with LifeSouth).  Ideas of things to do include museums like HistoryMiami and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens (free for Snap/EBT holders).  Other stuff on the list to check out is the home to former TV show Miami Ink, Love Hate Tattoos and possibly a couple tattoo supply shops. I’ll be looking for Obey artwork on the sides of buildings and Mimo, Art Deco and Mediterranean Revival architechtural styles in the Art Deco District. Shopping wise let’s peruse places like Retro City Collectibles, Quantum Toys & Games, Sakura Toyland Inc and Whole Foods. Our budget is modest, but others might want to consider a rare show like The Art of Banksy: “Without Limits”.  Tickets available at feverup.com. We’ll also try to find some movie theaters (also AMC Sunset Place 24) and possibly be a mall rat (oops, sorry…dolphin). Don’t forget to check for Pops at Walmart!
